A man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of his girlfriend has been arrested, Miami police said.

Police said Bertram Clark was arrested near Northwest 14th Place and 212th Street in Miami Gardens on Wednesday.

Miami police said detectives received a tip from a viewer who saw on the news that police were looking for Clark.

Clark is accused of pistol-whipping and then fatally shooting Shanquendra Quenishea Williams, 25, at a home at 1232 NW First Place early Monday.

Clark was not armed when police took him into custody. Investigators were questioning him Wednesday afternoon.
